The principle of yoga originally comes from India and describes a philosophical teaching which means mental as well as bodily unity and exertion. In the core of the bodily exercises, the so-called asanas, you train your strength, balance and flexibility, which are perfected through deep relaxation in breathing and meditation exercises.
In the SCHWARZWALD PANORAMA Bad Herrenalb, the professional Yoga-Instructor Kerstin Weinbrecht will be there to guide you. She uses the ease of the Vinyasa Flow and combines it with Power Yoga following the Jivamukti method. She also uses the principles of Iyengar-Yoga and helps you experience an intensive connection with the earth.

With Asanas you can strengthen your body, keep it flexible and exercise your balance. The body, your lifelong friend, becomes the focus of your attention. Private lessons give you the opportunity to get to know or deepen your yoga experience within a framework tailored to your personal physical or psychological challenges. PRANAYAMA (BREATHING EXERCISES)

Breathing is the bearer of our life energy (prana). Conscious breathing gives the body new strength and soothes the mind. In Pranayama we learn different techniques to direct our breathing, to balance emotional and mental events and to increase our life energy.

YOGA NIDRA (DEEP RELAXATION)

Yoga Nidra is a deep relaxation exercise, where the effects go beyond the usual idea of relaxation. Without great preparation Yoga Nidra can be practised by anyone in order to benefit from the immense effects: healing on a physical, mental and emotional level; exposing the hidden creative potential; strengthening concentration and memory; this results in a renewed joy for life and work.

DHYANA (MEDITATION)

“Silence, emptiness, oneness, in the here and now or connected with everything” are descriptions for the state in meditation.
Meditation is an intensive training of the mind in which the practitioner gradually acquires different levels of consciousness. We learn different mindfulness practices or concentration exercises that soothe and focus our mind.

PRANA WALKING (ENERGY IN NATURE)

Accompanied tour with breathing exercises in controlled running style.

THAI-YOGA-MASSAGE

In the Thai yoga massage the body is passively passed through a series of stretching and opening yoga positions, to resolve blockages in joints and adjacent muscle groups. At the same time, the energy lines in the body are stimulated with hands and feet to activate the body’s self-healing powers. The Thai yoga massage takes place in comfortable clothing on a soft mat on the floor.
