Together with ClimatePartner, we record and analyze the overall environmental and climate impact of our hotel operations. To this end, our CO₂ emissions are determined annually with the aim of reducing CO₂ emissions as much as possible. All CO₂ emissions from events held at our hotel, including overnight stays, are calculated and offset together with the other CO₂ residual emissions generated by investing in global climate protection projects.

At the SCHWARZWALD PANORAMA , your stay can be a carbon neutral vacation if you wish. Therefor, the CO₂ emissions during your stay are offset by supporting recognized climate protection projects in cooperation with ClimatePartner. The basis is the ecological footprint of the entire hotel operation in cooperation with ClimatePartner.

This results in numerous measures taken by our hotel to pursue a maximum reduction of CO₂ emissions. Residual emissions that cannot be avoided are compensated for by appropriate offset projects, e.g. by providing financial support for forest reforestation. This makes carbon neutral hotel stays and green meetings possible for all guests – whether they are vacationers, selfness guests or conference guests.

Included for conferences and arrangements:

1. 1. Avoidance of CO2 emissions and integration of CO2-neutral products
   2. Neutralization of remaining emissions for all conferences and arrangements
   3. Neutralization of residual emissions during arrival and departure in the Green Days package (regardless of whether by train or car) and optionally for all events and overnight stays.
   4. Compensation for overnight stays for individual guests

Using the CO2 calculator from ClimatePartner, our guests have the option of calculating all CO2 emissions generated during their arrival and departure and having them offset by investing in our global climate protection projects.
